Spark plug misfiring can be triggered off by defective or poorly fitting spark plug resistor caps. For this reason, with these problems it is initially important to check and replace the cable and the cap. We offer spark plug caps which can sometimes be driven with and sometimes without adapter cones for the spark plug.
Conclusion: Should be replaced with every major engine service and belong in every luggage compartment.
TECH TIP: when changing the resistor cap, replace the HT lead and spark plug at the same time.
